Isabel González Camuñas was born in Madrid in 1991. She began her bassoon studies at the age of 6 years old.
She studied the Bachelor Degree at Salvador Seguí Conservatory of Music ( Spain ) with Miguel Puchol, achieving the Degree’s Final Award.
Isabel decided to continue her studies in Germany with Diego Chenna at the Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg. Currently, continues her studies at Conservatoire supérieure de musique de Strasbourg ( France), as a student of Eduardo Calzada.
Has been a member of Maurice André Academy receiving classes from different bassoonist such as Higinio Arrué, Guillermo Salcedo, Salvador Sanchís, Enrique Abargues; besides taking master classes with Gustavo Núñez, Guilhaume Santana, Marco Postinghel, Sergio Azzolini.
Regarding chamber music, has participated in diferrent festivals, being Festival International des Musiques d’aujourd’hui in Strasbourg the most important, apart from that, has performed with several ensembles in many cities around the world, and has received classes from Diego Chenna, Jörg Widmann, Lucas Macías Navarro.
She has also performed in several orchestras such as La Mancha Philharmonic Orchestra, Verum Symphonic Orchestra, Barcelona Municipal Music Band, Ceuta International Symphony Orchestra, ARGO Ensemble, Animato Foundation Orchestra, Baltic Sea Philharmonic, Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra.
Isabel has played in numerous theaters such as Auditorio Nacional de Müsica ( Madrid, Spain), Berliner Philharmonie ( Germany), KKL Luzern ( Switzerland), Wiener Konzerthaus ( Austria), Reduta Bratislava ( Slovakia), Smetana Hall ( Prague), Estonia Concert Hall, Mariinsky Theatre ( Russia) among others.
