Kerstin Elisabeth Kullerkupp

Kerstin-Elisabeth Kullerkupp was born in Tartu, Estonia. She started her violin studies at the age of 6. She graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2018 by Kristina Kriit and Natalia Sakkos. Additionally, in 2009/2010, she studied at the Regional Conservatory of Paris with Éric Lacrouts and later took regular private lessons with Virginie Robilliard in Paris. In 2015/2016 Kerstin received an Erasmus scholarship to study at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig with Carolin Widmann. She has participated in master-classes with Petru Munteanu, Peter Szabo, Florian Donderer, Marie Charvet, Evan Rothstein, the Kamus Quartet among others.
Kerstin is an active chamber and orchestra musician and has given concerts in Finland, Russia, Denmark, Sweden, France, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Italy and Slovakia. As an orchestra player Kerstin plays in Orchestre de Chambre de Nouvelle Europe, Vanemuine Theatre Symphony Orchestra and Baltic Sea Philharmonic.
In 2012 she received a scholarship for the Hohenstaufen Chamber Music Academy in Germany.
Besides violin playing, Kerstin likes to be creative – an important part of her education has been composition studies with Richard Dubugnon. She has also written numerous articles, critics on music and interviews with internationally known musicians for the Estonian Music Magazine and the newspaper Sirp.
